How long have you been doing digital art?
I've been doing digital art full time for 9 years! I try not to keep my traditional art skills rusty though.
What art programs do you use?
I use Manga Studio 5 for sketching, inking and basic shadows. Adobe Photoshop CS4 for special effects and editing.
Do you use a tablet?
I do! I use a Wacom Intuos Pro.
How do you get your lines so smooth?
Lots of practice! The pen stabilizer in Manga Studio 5 is super handy for those long smooth lines.
What size is your canvas/brush size?
Canvas - Normally I start with an 8"x10" at 300dpi (2400x3000).
Brush size - This changes depending on if I'm sketching or inking and how thick I want my lines. Play around with sizes till you get something that looks good.
Do you do commissions/art trades/requests?
Commissions - Commissions are closed permanently.
Art Trades - Only with close friends.
Requests - Not at this time.
I am a professional illustrator currently living in the amazing northwest state of Washington. I love drawing colorful, eye popping art while listening to the rain falling outside.
I am an open and friendly person and if you ever have any questions, or just want to say 'Allo!' don't hesitate to post here!
I’ve been a bit absent due to a mix of work, and a recent death in the family (don’t worry, I’m okay!). But the good news is winter break has officially started for me and I am off for a week! Which means lots of art and streams are coming your way!
I got the go ahead to post some work pieces for live games I’ve done some ads for, so I’m super stoked to show you guys all that stuff.
Not sure what days I’ll be streaming just yet, but I’ll try to vary the days/times so everyone can catch at least one! Streams will be super casual personal art, and possibly a ‘follow along’ art stream in there somewhere (where I’ll cover shading techniques and little tricks).
I’ll keep you all posted! ♥
