My favorite Disney badass of all time. Oh yes, this painting is happening.
Greyscaling most of the items in, then overlaying color when I'm happy and going in for details. Figured I'd give that process a good college try. The things in color (background, flames etc) are on a seperate layer and will be added permenently later.
And yes: This is my interpretation of how I would want her to look. I was going to go traditional, but Im a sucker for real horns and widows peak hairlines.
Btw: There's a Maleficent movie coming out, staring Angelina Jolie. It will probably be terrible, but I'm sure she's going to rock my socks off...and honestly that's all that matters.
